Hello and welcome back to Recipe Lab! For March, I’m doing Chocolate Week. Over the course of the week, you’ll see some rather questionable recipes – so if you are brave, try the recipes as are, or switch it up and make it your own. If you do though, let me know by tagging me on a picture on Instagram or leaving a comment link here!
See the recipes below.
The concept of Recipe Lab is simple: take one ingredient or theme, and put up (at least) 5 recipes using that ingredient or matching that theme.
There are very few people that can’t stand chocolate, and screw ’em. Chocolate bars are a great pick me up, and they’re the general treat for any child that behaves well. As adults, we take chocolate further, putting it in cakes and milk and mousses and several other things. I’ve done five such recipes that you can read from the links below.
I’ve done two savoury and three sweet recipes, but if there is something else you’d like to see, let me know in the comments. I welcome your recommendations and feedback.
Honestly, I like my recipes (otherwise I wouldn’t have put them up), but I’m not SUPER PROUD of them, and it left me quite haggard making these. Tension about these is the reason I missed a number of posts over the last few weeks, that and I’ve been super busy with work and other things.
So I welcome your recommendations on handling chocolate, or in general, time management for a blog (general or food) or requests for specific recipes. If you run a food blog, I’d love to chat with you about time management.
Question of the day: Do you cook with chocolate? What is your favourite type of chocolate and why? Answer below!
