Cascader Wednesdays: Permission

“But mom!”, Kaley screamed. It was an important party that she wasn’t being allowed to go to. Why could mom never understand?!

Hi,

It’s been a week but whatever – Like I’ve stated earlier, I’m working on big ideas for the blog and today I begin to execute them. Every Wednesday will be the release of a new Cascader. Enjoy.

Note: Still experimenting with the new form. Now trying without indicating the different headings, and establishing a literal connection between each form.

“But mom!”, Kaley screamed. It was an important party that she wasn’t being allowed to go to. Why could mom never understand?! “If she could have her way,” Kaley thought, “I would sit at home forever. Ugh!” She stormed up to her room, and locked the door. After half an hour, she climbed out the window and sneaked till she was out of sight. Getting a cab, she reached the warehouse where the party was held. Drink in hand, she thought of how her mother was fretting for no reason. She took a sip. Everything was fine. It was fine…

“Everything was fine.” Maximus repeated to himself. His wounds were plenty, but not deep. He drowned out the loud noises around him, getting up slowly. In front of him, another kneeled. Maximus looked up to the booth for permission. Thumbs down. Maximus swung. A squelch, a loud cheer, then silence…

Freedom’s an illusion, silence – real,
When the leader stands, ev’ry man must kneel.
They take so much blood, the wounds may not heal,
Sanctioned by vote again; So turns the wheel.

Since the wheel, man argues whether progress will grant us or deny us entry into heaven. There are no wheels in heaven, only hoverboards.

Heaven’s Gate – Undergoing Repairs; Entry denied.
